The Perfect Match is the name of Hero's matching philosophy. Its premise is simple: a good match has to work on two axes at once — the professional must be able to do the job (skills) and must fit the people and working style of the client (culture fit). One without the other is not a match.

Principles

1. Skills are the entry ticket. Without demonstrable expertise a candidate does not make the shortlist. A network of more than 30,000 professionals allows Hero to be selective.
2. Culture fit is the deciding factor. A technically flawless candidate who will clash with the team is not proposed. Every intake therefore covers the working environment: pace, communication style, degree of autonomy.
3. Honesty beats closing. In line with the house rule "everything we say is 100% true", a doubtful case is presented as doubtful — or not at all.

How it works

An assignment often starts informally, for instance over #koffie. A structured intake follows, capturing context as well as requirements. Hero then proposes a small, argued selection — two candidates who can both succeed rather than ten CVs to sift — with the first match typically presented within 48 hours.

Hero stays involved after the start. Check-ins during the first weeks test whether the match holds up in practice; if it does not, Hero adjusts or replaces. This aftercare is part of the method, not an add-on. Speed never outranks care: a proposal only leaves once both axes have been tested — a day later beats a wrong start.

Results

The approach shows in the company's figures: 94% satisfaction across more than 2,900 active placements. Hero treats these numbers as a feedback loop rather than a trophy: every mismatch is logged and discussed — "making mistakes is allowed, reporting them is required" — to sharpen the method.
